The anti-dandruff active ingredient ciclopiroxolamine is used to care for the scalp when it comes to dandruff. Ciclopiroxolamine specifically combats the causes of dandruff. The conditioner it contains makes it easy to comb and gives the hair suppleness, shine and volume.

What are dandruff?
Normally the skin renews itself in a constant cycle of around 28 days. In the case of dandruff, the renewal process is shortened to approx. 5-15 days. Due to the accelerated process, the skin cells are not completely keratinized, clump together and therefore detach themselves from the scalp in larger, visible cell groups, the typical dandruff. The most common trigger for dandruff is a yeast fungus, which is part of the healthy scalp flora in humans. However, its number is greatly increased in dandruff. This promotes the development of dandruff.
